When teams go in at half-time, whether they are ahead or behind, they talk about what is working and what is not.

They talk about what both they and their competitors are doing that is hurting them.

And then they talk about what they need to change and do differently. They make adjustments. They learn.

Exercise: It's half-time in your business.

  • In which areas are you ahead or behind?
  • What's working? What's not?
  • What are you learning?
  • Which plays consistently score points?
  • What adjustments do you need to make?
  • What changes do you need to make?
  • When are you going to make them?

I'm reading smart blogs like this, thinking ahead to the rest of the year. And taking your advice, looking back to see what is and is not working.  
 
Other questions always asked: 
What are the other guys doing better? How are they beating you and how can you stop them? Are they forcing you to play their game, against your strengths?
